CARE TO THE ENVIRONEMENT

Let’s face it, creating a campaign to raise awareness and encourage action is a great and ambitious initiative but it comes with an impact on the environment: paper, ink, transport,…
That’s why we tried as much as possible to limit this impact to its minimum.

1. For this campaign, you will only see paper posters and no digital displays.
Indeed, digital advertising may be less expensive but has a significant footprint due to its energy consumption. And this is not us saying it, but Life Cycle Analyses have demonstrated it. Check out this and this articles to know more. On top of that, digital supports have a significant impact on light pollution.

2. We used only public transport to go and meet with our partners.

3. We chose to work with partners who show clear sustainability objectives:
Uldry.ch, whio printed the campaign, uses a water-based ink (HP Latex) in their production, which does not produce any unpleasant odors and does not contain any solvents or other air pollutants (but is of course weather-resistant). The production of their printed products takes place in their print shop in Bern, using 100% green electricity from Swiss hydropower. They are FSC® certified as a company and use FSC® certified papers and materials wherever possible. In addition, all their paper and cardboard waste is collected and picked up by their paper supplier, recycled and reused for paper production.
Our partners are soon welcoming us so we can raise awareness within their team by offering a Climate Fresk, a collaborative workshop that teach the fundamental science behind climate change and empower to take action.
